What's the best Laptop?

What's the best laptop out there? What laptop do you guys use? I want to get my own laptop because my school laptop needs an administrators password to download anything, and I can't even get things for school like Moviemaker for my media class! What laptop should I get? I'm thinking about the Macbook Pro 13 inch because it looks easy to use I researched and it's a lot better than the Macbook Air. Can you recommend any good windows laptops?
